The Daily Show Interview
To say that Robert Pattinson's Cosmopolis promotional tour in NYC were highly anticipated by the fans is a complete understatement. First up on his schedule was an appearance on The Daily Show where he was to be interviewed by Jon Stewart.
Rob's fans watched this interview in many different countries either on TV or via live link. And we were not disappointed, our boy showed class and dignity where Jon Stewart showed none.
Bringing out a tub of ice-cream, he didn't hesitate to poke fun at something that no one but Rob should know about. But like the professional he is, Rob answered every question he was asked whilst laughing and smiling throughout, trying desperately not to get ice-cream all over himself.
Thankfully once Rob didn't let anything slip, Stewart moved on to why they were really there, to talk about his movie Cosmopolis, which is receiving raving reviews since its US Premiere on Monday 13th August.
Whilst fans watched they took to twitter to voice their opinion clearly happy that Rob was content and happy, however furious with Jon Stewart's lack of tact. If there is one thing the fans hate it is the media trying to get Rob to slip up and reveal something he does not want to. Cosmopolis is something Rob is clearly proud of, it's obvious the way he speaks of his involvement in it. No matter what he does, there is always going to be a fan base that will support him in everything he does. Robert Pattinson is a brilliant actor, and musician, I for one can't wait for his future movies to be released. If you are a part of the media that thinks Rob can't shake off his Twilight tag, Cosmopolis proves that he can and has done just that.
