Robsten At Comic Con
San Diego Comic Con has always been a favourite with the fans, as thousands travel from all over the world just to get a glimpse of their idols. This year was no different as the cast of Twilight came together for their final Comic Con together. First to answer questions were Kristen, Rob, Mackenzie, Taylor, & of course Stephanie Meyer. As the questions started it became obvious that Kristen only has eyes for Rob as she turned her chair in his direction. The smile couldn't be kept off either of their faces, the love clear in their eyes and the less than subtle touches, how much they support each other. Having watched the panel via a youtube link, I found it sweet the way she would accidentally answer a question that was meant for Rob. However I do think that some of that comes from nervousness.
After one question about future books, suddenly the conversation between Kristen, Rob and Stephanie Meyer got a little strange. After revealing if she was to write another chapter in the Twilight Saga it would be in Renesmee's view, talk turned to different ways of killing each other, with Kristen saying she could totally rip Rob's head off before suddenly remembering where they were.
Not only were were fans treated to two exclusive clips from Breaking Dawn Part 2, the cast surprised the waiting fans, the night before the panel questions as they went out to meet the fans personally, signing autographs, and generally just being the fabulous people they are. Alongside Robsten, Taylor and Mckenzie at this years' comic con was Nikki Reed, Kellan Lutz, Elizabeth Reazer Peter Facnelli, Ashley Greene and lastly Jackson Rathbone. From video footage it was definitely a happy time all around. Millions of fans queue every year waiting to catch a glimpse of their idols, this was the cast's way of giving a little piece of their hearts back to them for all the support they have given them over the past 5 years. After completing the panel questions, it was time for photographs and tons of interviews.
Kristen Stewart Interviews
Are you content with the way the whole story has rapped up for you and your character?
"Yes, very, yea. Thank God. To walk away from something like this, especially at this point not having the satisfaction would be a painful, painful, painful experience. I haven't seen the final version because it doesn't exist yet." "Oh Wow." "Yea we are definitely still working on it I'm still going in to do voice over stuff."
There wasn't any reshoots or anything was there?
"Only for Breaking Dawn Part 1. I think. It all kind of melds. No but I feel really good, we lived in this world for so long so indulged like, the story is out. 'ts the most satisfying thing as an actor you start everything to finish it. So after four years it's like ahh okay the story is done."
Okay last question. If Stephanie came to you and said Hey we're going to write one more the fans really want this to continue on and she said what would you like to see your character do in the next book. What would you like to see?
"Dude, like we've all thought about that. The story is so completely I mean they're just gonna live they're just gonna live forever and they're going to be so stoked about it and really happy and they got a cute kid like it really is done. I would be very curious, I'd be like Stephanie what have you possibly come up with. I have no idea."
Extra Interview Joint Interview
Kristen:
Final One. Here With Kristen Stewart one last time. How are you feeling?
"Really good. Yeah. Really, really great."
Amazing to see the fans still camping out. Been here for a few days now. It must mean the world to you after all these years.
"Even after all these years how weird is that to even say. I know."
When you think back to that first Comic Con what stands out cos your life obviously changed dramatically since then?
"That was a kick start. That was the first time that we ever saw. We'd heard about the fanatical fans, heard about all these people and then they were right in front of us. It's hard to believe before you actually physically see them. The reason I love doing this job man is cos that shared energy, this is the most intense version of it I'll ever have."
Rob: "The first time I had no idea what I was doing at all. I still don't really. I think it's kind of turning up when people are like "Are you ready for this?" "What do you expect?" "What's going to happen?" "And I'm like I don't know I didn't even know what hall age looked like or anything. I didn't even know how many people were going to be inside. They just said there was a ton of people. That was the first time I'd really seen a Twilight crowd before. "
Kristen
The fans have been waiting since then to see your character finally become a vampire. Your castmates have been waiting to see you have to put on the contact lenses and the make up every day. Was it an incredibly challenge, a whole new dimension for Bella?
"It was fun, it was really cool. Cos I had so much time to look at everyone else. Years at looking at everyone else do it, so I felt very well rounded. I felt like I was so on it, I was a very confident vampire. Thankfully, yeah yeah very steady and so unlike hopefully tried to be unlike what you imagine Bella to be."
Rob: "It was interesting as well how with everyone else being vampires, everyone had figured out their little mannerisms and it was a kind of group understanding of how we were going to play them. And then seeing Kristen suddenly going "I have to play this totally differently" and the only newborn as well, it's kind of interesting to see. How do you play a brand new vampire we haven't seen it in these movies before."
Kristen
In addition to playing a vampire, you're playing a mom. That's different for you, is it something that was enjoyable, challenging Just kind of a unique experience I would imagine?
"Um, yeah, its gonna sound obvious. It was eye opening. It was like wow. I'm really intimidated by kids usually, even though I love them they're great. I'm usually like, you're smarter than me I can't... I can't be around you, but Mackenzie is like one of the most steady, cool. One of the coolest actresses I've ever worked with."
I can imagine it's been really great for you to go through all this craziness with Rob and with Taylor, and your friends from this movie. How important is it for you to maintain those friendships?
"It's so important. I mean like, and only because it's natural and real. You don't always make friends with your costars. We all really do have something that will never you know. This thing kind of bonded us. Kinda."
Rob said that he's writing and thinks of you for possibly being in one of his scripts any chance you guys will work together again?
"Oh, dude we will work together again. Yea."
Big News here at Comic Con?
"No I think we could and I'm not being coy or anything. I have a few actors that I have been like dude, we need to keep doing this together. he's definitely one of them."
Rob
Any truth to the rumor that you're writing a script for Kristen to star in?
"I'm trying to write stuff all the time."
Have you guys talked about working together again?
"I'd love to. Yeah definitely. I mean there's only like a few actors who can kind of get that finance. And Kristen's one of the only girls. So I mean I would love to. Also there are so many parts where there are young female parts where Kristen is just perfect for it it's like, damn it, you literally like its so easy to cast her in anything."
Are you still amazed that when you come down here to Comic Con there are people camping out for days, thousands of people who go out of their minds just like the first year?
"Yeah and also they never seem to change age. It's always the same group of people. Even though its a broad spectrum of people but um, it's amazing, it's so crazy I didn't understand it the first time, I still don't really understand it now, so like I'm curious what all these people will do after."
